Baskets made from natural fibers, by women artisans located in mountains of Puebla, Mexico. Due to the handmade process, baskets sizes vary slightly, so measurements are given as a rough idea.
The Material from which these are made is from an endemic tree found in the community. After the fiber is extracted from the bark of the tree, artisans soak them for 25 days so the strands soften (water changed daily). Finally, it is left in the sun in order to dry so they can start to weave and create these functional and aesthetic jewels
It is perfect for hanging plants, fruits or using it as a bookcase. Measurement may vary due its handmade process.
