About

He is a welder, she is a weaver.

Robert Dougherty and Janelle Pietrzak met in 2011 in the motorcycle shop that Robert worked in. Soon after they started renovating Janelle's South Philly row home together.  In 2013 they formally started making home goods to sell in their new Los Angeles neighborhood.  They named their design studio All Roads, after an often said expression.  Their individual life experiences led them to each other, the right place at the right now.  Through all of the various paths travelled, all the roads one goes down results in the person you are today.

Currently, All Roads is a studio workshop that creates decorative art and functional product.  Based in Yucca Valley in the Mojave Desert, they focus on their respective crafts within metal and textiles, often collaborating together on special projects. Whether they are creating one of kind items in the desert, or partnering with skilled artisans across the globe, they strive to use the best materials to create functional items that will last for years to come.
