Rustic utility knife with handmade copper sheath. Knife sheath is handmade and hand formed with scrap copper sheet and copper rivets, and each one has a unique patina finish. The wooden knife handle has been finished with Japanese shou sugi ban technique and then waxed.
We found these utility knives while shopping in Mexico City and loved the shaped. We made the copper sheaths in our desert studio.
Make the mundane activity, like opening a box, special.
