Vintage hand woven cotton cloth from China called Nankeen. Two handwoven panels sewn together with a paisley pattern, applied by a resist paste technique, then over dyed with indigo. These were used as cushion covers.

Use them to make curtains, as a tablecloth, sofa cover. Hang it on the wall as a tapestery. Medium weight, could also use it as a wrap.

We have a handful of these cloths. They are in varying shades of blue, some are darker, some are faded. Some have small holes or repairs. They are vintage and we love the evidence of use. We have washed them in hot water.
