Black Walnut hulls are gathered in the forests of the Potomac Valley, West Virginia. Rosey-Danna is screen printed by hand with a pattern inspired by Art Deco illustrator George Barbier, 18th century French textiles AND a border tribute to Indian woodblock printing.
Madder root creates a deep shade of red here, dyed to the fullest depth of shade, this madder hue is a washed antique red.
Osage is dyed with Osage wood and Rust, an iron liquor made from found objects.
Indigo Dot-Danna is screen printed by hand with polka dot pattern inspired by turn-of-the century rotary prints.
